2008-04-30 [Artsy]: a PRT is a 'personal radio transit' it's like.. an electric train that works as public transportation at the college I'm going to. Since the campus is so large and full of students, it's best to use these. Cuts back on pollution. ^^

If she just walked a few days a week, or just the nice days.. It'll cut back ALOT, believe me. Me and my roomie are one a shoe string budget ourselves. I only have power at all because I've medical reasons to need the electric. Otherwise it would have gotten shut off awhile ago.

Maybe I'll have it ready before Bob gets here, that way we can take the PRT for free instead of paying a fee to ride it. (although, this yesterday was the 3rd time the whole system broke down this year, though it was the first time people actually had to get out and walk in the prt area to get to the station, to freedom!)

2008-09-22 [Artsy]: No, I always walk to the 2 classes I have today. The ride would take longer and it really isn't far at all... Like a 15 minute walk for me? If I take my time and just do it leisurely. Other people had to walk along the 'tracks' because it broke down. They have to ride the PRT because it would take probably over an hour, or longer, to walk from downtown, where some people live, to the CAC, where I have class.

The other 2 times it broke down, it wasn't so long that we were told to get out and walk, but it was totally broken down the first time and I had to take the 8:30 bus to my 8:30 class so I was 15 minutes late. -_-'' Then the second time I got stuck ON it, but it was only about 20 minutes so I was, again, 15 minutes late for class.... SAME CLASS!

2008-09-22 [Artsy]: My test was in geography and some of the questions were about the easterlies (some kind of wind pattern in the north or south hemisphere) and the westerlies (some wind patter in the north or south hemisphere) and about perihelion (in winter, closest position of earth to the sun) and aphelion (in summer, furthest position of earth to the sun)

He'll probably also be at mine and Kenneth's b-day party. ^^ And Melissa's (kenneth's brother's girlfriend and our old school mate, she goes to a different college).

2008-09-23 [lacy_azlin]: I would like to get a small laptop. Doesn't have to do anything fancy. Just something I can use to do some minor cruising of the net and alot of text documents. So I can read from bed with it, write wherever I happen to be. I can get more done when I am not at home with writing. Especially if I have to have long layover times with my bus driving and don't feel like running back and forth.

2008-09-23 [moira hawthorne]: yah that would be very usefull! likely get what you need for about $200.... Bill sold the laptop which was a gaming formate laptop... it wasmore advanced,,, but also more potential headaches if it broke....
